JR. YOUTH INFORMATION

Sunday Morning Class

7^th and 8^th Grade Classes meet in separate areas in the Youth House on Sundays, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  “Growing In Christ” is the theme for their studies.  Guests and Friends are always welcome to join our classes. 

Wednesday Evening Catechism Classes

7^th & 8^th Graders meet together in the Sanctuary on Wednesday Nights beginning at 6 p.m. (actually, if you come between 5:45 – 6p.m. there are snacks in the church kitchen for your enjoyment).  Our Catechism Class participants are divided up into Small Group Sizes and mentored by 1 or 2 adults.  We start off with Large Group time and later divide into our Small Group areas and clusters.  Guests and Friends are always welcome to join us.  We study the Scriptures and Luther’s Small Catechism.

Jr. Youth Group Activities

We do not meet on a weekly basis for activities, but plan activities that take us on retreats, overnight lock-ins, and some special parties.  A major event will happening in February 2007 – Youth Quake.  You can read about this in the Upcoming Events page.
